In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Statement and the terms and conditions of your specific product or service, the terms and conditions of your specific product or service will take precedence.   It is also important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate.  Therefore, you are requested to please keep us informed if your personal information changes during your relationship with us.

2.1        We may collect two types of information from users of the website:

(a)        Personal Information provided voluntarily by you when you register as a client with us online, when you make a request for service, complete a survey, update your information, or otherwise input text or values into the website. Such information may include your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, user name, date of birth, nationality, country of tax domicile, passport number and place of issue, residency permit details, tax identification details, employer, business interests, family information and contact preferences.

(b)        General Information that identifies the computers or devices you use to access the website, the manner by which you use them and your usage activities on our website. This general information does not identify you personally, and may include information such as your IP address, the date and time you access the Website, length of time you spend on the website, your browsing history, and location information.

3.1       When personal information is collected from you we generally let you know at the time of collection how we will use that personal information or data. By accessing this website, you consent and fully understand that we may also use the data that you provide or which we collect via this website (including your personal information) for the purposes of:

3.2       If you have made an application or submitted personal information or made an  application on  behalf of (a) another individual, (b) a business or entity; and have provided us with information in relation to its directors, shareholders, owners, or beneficiaries or if you have provided information relating to any guarantor, provider of security, donor or lender of any deposit monies or any occupier of any security property, this Privacy Statement will also apply to those individuals and you should provide a copy of this Privacy Statement as soon as possible and obtain their confirmation that they have read and understood it. By providing us with their personal information you confirm that you have provided them with a copy of this Privacy Statement and that they have not objected to such use of their personal information. You must make sure that you have the right and permission to use their personal information in this way. By providing the information you confirm that you have the permission and right to do so.

3.3       We will treat the information we collect (including your personal information) as confidential, however we may have to share your personal information with third parties due to legitimate business interests or for example (but not limited to):

(a)        if disclosure is connected to the purpose for which it was collected;

(b)        if such information is needed by our agents, professional advisors or other service providers or business partners where we have asked for any professional advice or any other services to be rendered;

(c)        if Governmental or other authorities require it, or due to any regulatory requirements including reporting needs;

All of our service providers and partners are bound by written contracts whereby any personal information or data provided to them is only for the purposes of providing the specific services to us.  They are bound to ensure they maintain appropriate security measures so as to ensure that they protect your personal information at all times and not use the same for unconnected purposes. 

3.4       We may share the information we gather in an anonymous form (for example survey tracking information which does not identify you) with advertisers and other partners.

3.5       You should be aware and understand that we may process your personal information without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above, where it is required or permitted by law.

3.6       Where we need to collect personal information due to the requirements of applicable law or professional standards and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may have to decline a request for services or, if we are already acting, stop providing you with our services. We will notify you if this happens.

4.1       A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. 5.3       In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, we have in place suitable and appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed without authorisation or altered.  To this extent access to all personal information is limited to only those persons required to have to access to such information for the purposes of business needs and processes, such persons also being under the duty of confidentiality.

5.4       In the event that there is any suspected breach of our data or security of our systems we will notify you and our regulators of the same where we are legally required to do so.  

5.5       All of the personal information and data that you provide to us is held and stored (including backups of data) on various secure servers and systems which are based in the UAE in full compliance with UAE laws and regulatory requirements.
