Mohamed joined Abu Dhabi Finance in April 2013, where his responsibilities include developing business relationships with public and private entities, creating plans for launching new products, promotions and sales events and contributing to overall company strategy.
Mohamed has diversified experience in both the Banking and Oil Field sectors. He started his career as a Field Engineer in Schlumberger and then joined TOTAL as an Offshore Field Specialist. Subsequently, he moved to the Banking sector where he worked in different department including Service Quality and Business Process Re-engineering in Sharjah Islamic Bank, Products and Propositions Management in HSBC Amanah and Sales & Business Development and Branch Management in Barwa Bank.
He has significant regional and international experience, having worked in Kuwait and Qatar as a full-time employee, in addition to secondment roles in Brunei, UK and France.
Mohamed has a Masters of International Business from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from UAE University.
Aside for his professional commitment, Mohamed has contributed to publications such as Alroeya, Alalam and Ahwal Magazine. He is one of the founder members of the UAE Human Rights Association and has volunteered for a number of school education programs.
